Robin joined our organization in early 2001 and provides an East Coast presence due to her location in New Jersey. Robin has held numerous project management positions, including over 12 years with AT&T (project director in global data networks), and 7 years in the medical education industry. She held positions with Torre Lazur (director of project management within their medical education division) and Comprehensive Medical Communications (project director). Robin has helped develop educational programs and initiatives in a wide array of clinical areas including but not limited to neuroscience, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, neurology, pain, ophthalmology, and oncology.
Robin brings experienced understanding of the independent medical education industry and critical relationships with medical associations, accredited providers, and fulfillment providers. Robin has studied business administration at George Washington University and is an active member of Health-Care Businesswomen's Association.

Bob joined ACCELMED in 2007 after 14 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, medical communications, and continuing education industry. Prior to joining ACCELMED, Bob was the Vice President of Account Services for Medical Education Group, LLC; an accredited provider of continuing education activities.
In his role as Director of Strategic Education and Grants, Bob is responsible for strategic account management, client service, and business development for our continuing education activities. He is located in our Pennsylvania office.
Bob brings to ACCELMED experience in diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, multiple sclerosis, oncology, gastroenterological diseases, anxiety, depression, and sleep disorders. Bob received his BA in History and his BA in Politics from Ursinus College prior to beginning his professional career with Astra Merck Pharmaceuticals.

Alison is responsible for planning, development and execution of the ACCELMED educational programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and ongoing relationship development with CME providers and associations. Alison brings more than 8 years experience in Medical Education as a program manager, a business development manager, and an educational director. Alison has extensive experience in program development and implementation of national and regional symposia, Web conferences, teleconferences, curriculum planning meetings, podcasts, and journal supplements.
Alison joined ACCELMED organization in 2005. Prior to joining ACCELMED, Alison held numerous positions in the medical education industry including her recent work with an ACCME accredited provider. Alison's clinical project experience includes neuroscience, diabetes, CNS and cardiovascular, metabolic syndrome, women's health, ophthalmology, and peripheral arterial disease.
Alison brings diverse experience and understanding of the medical education industry. Alison has a degree in communication from Indiana University. She is also a member of the Alliance for Continuing Medical Education.

He manages all aspects of educational planning and assessment from performance gap analyses to summative assessments/outcomes and provides leadership and training for ACCELMED's curriculum and outcomes managers, research assistants, and medical editors. He ensures that all activities are clinically relevant, scientifically rigorous, and strategically designed to maximize learning through incorporation of adult learning principles. His responsibilities include collaborating with national and international thought leaders to develop continuing education that meets the educational needs of healthcare professionals in the areas of cardiology, oncology, endocrine disorders, and infectious disease. Prior to joining ACCELMED, Janardhan participated in molecular biology-based laboratory research in hematology, oncology, and infectious diseases. He has published many peer-reviewed scientific manuscripts, review articles, and book chapters. In addition, he has written several grant proposals and prepared scientific presentations for national scientific meetings. His unique experience as a drug discovery researcher, quality assurance professional, medical sales representative, and teaching assistant allow him to effectively communicate key scientific and clinical data to a wide range of audiences.
Janardhan received his Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and Master's degree in Biological Sciences from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science in India. He obtained a Doctorate degree in infectious diseases from Oklahoma State University. Janardhan was a post-doctoral fellow at St. Jude's research hospital in Memphis, Tennessee and Eli Lilly and Company and Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Jason Xu, MD, PhD, is a Medical Curriculum Manager in the Department of Medical and Educational Affairs. His responsibilities include collaborating with national and international thought leaders to develop continuing education that is scientifically accurate and meets the educational needs of healthcare professionals in the areas of cardiology, diabetes, infectious disease, and chronic pain.
Dr. Xu completed his postdoctoral research at the University of Notre Dame, where he received his PhD in Biochemistry in 2008. Prior to his time at Notre Dame, he completed his clinical residency rotation at China Medical University in Shenyang, China, where he trained in radiology, internal medicine, and surgery, among other areas.
Dr. Xu has coauthored publications in several peer-reviewed journals including Blood, Current Drug Targets, Thrombosis and Haemostasis, and The Journal of Biological Chemistry. In 2007, he was awarded the Tower R.C. Science Fellowship at Notre Dame, and in 2005-2006, he was awarded a predoctoral fellowship by the American Heart Association (AHA). Jason is a member of the AHA's Council on Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis, and Vascular Biology as well as a member of the International Atherosclerotic Society and Sigma Xi, an honorary scientific research society.

She is active in several charitable organizations. Cara is an Indiana chapter board member for the American Diabetes Association and a county board member for Youth as Resources of Central Indiana, an organization that challenges local youth to indentify community needs and design projects that use their skills, creativity, and energy to help others in the community.
